Westwood is located in a western district of Los Angeles, bordered by Brentwood on the west, and Beverly Hills on the east, and is best known as the home of the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). East Westwood is generally called Holmby Hills and features large multi acreage estate residences which include, the Playboy Mansion, home of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner. The west side of Westwood is home to the very popular Westwood Village which exudes a cozy village-like atmosphere and trendy shops.
